“Appunti per gli Amici” is a periodical realized by Danilo Dolci’s partners in order to spread as much as possible social, political and educational contributions coming from Borgo’s activity and all the people who are connected to it.
The magazine is edited by Franco Alasia, Dolci’s apprentice and first collaborator, as well as author of an important inquiry against mafia, that has led to Bernardo Mattarella’s process. The editorial office of Appunti is located at the “Centro studi e ricerche” of Partinico. People work there, since 50’s, to create and spread these periodical, that are indeed documents. The magazine’s title is connected to the relationship that Dolci want to create with his readers, and important movement of information for diffusing of what has been created with popular actions and that contributes day by day to change.
“To all our Friends following our work, together with this magazine we give you also three Danilo’s articles about the travel to India, six articles about the travel to New York and his report done at Yale University”. How the activities at Borgo are going on, who are the people and what are the contributions that improve didactic, what are everyday life and political animations, the choices by political institutions, and what are the deliberations published and the agendas.
